Search field command line?

Need some help finding a plugin or sample of how I’d go about getting a simple command line working with my search bar. I was sure someone would have done this but I can’t find one. Probably because my search terms but hey.

Initial thought was allowing “[some function]:[some variable]” like login:Zillank and have the login page pick up the user name with an auto focus on password. Or new:post, new:page, manage:comments. Anything for quick and, more importantly, clean access to basic tasks. Thought about many ways it could be done… just hoping someone else already did it for me.

Any hints?
