I see you have a search box on your site already. That should find your books if you search for a term that is included in the title or summary, but it will also find posts and pages.
If you want a search box specific to finding books, you can install a search plugin that lets you create search boxes that limit the post types that are searched. The post type you want to choose is mbdb_book.
