Hello Meggs,
Thanks for your message. The “horizontal search form” Widget in your screen shot does not look really good on the position where you published it on your website. Some CSS adjustments are indeed necessary, but that’s something you should place inside the custom CSS rules of your Theme. This is because the apposite custom CSS file that you can edit from the Configuration page of Vik Booking is useful to style the Shortcodes.
If you are using a content-builder plugin, then our suggestion is to try and publish the Widget elsewhere in your Theme, just to see if at least you can get a defined background. Alternatively, you can play with the Widget’s settings to choose for example the so called “Human readable” layout.
The point is that we do not force any font color for the widget, because that’s taken directly by your Theme’s styles. If you would like to use a white font color there, then the only solution is to use the browser inspector tool, find the wrapper/container element of your Theme for the Widget, and set the proper font color and alignments.
Unfortunately, that’s not something we can help you with from a screen shot. The browser inspector tool is fundamental in this case. We suggest getting in touch with our team through our website should you need any extra help.
Thank you,
The VikWP Team
