    Hi,

After updating my site to WP 3.9.1, there’s a glitch with the Search function when I try to insert an image or link using the Advanced Editor.

    Below are screenshots on TinyPic:

If I insert image in a table cell, the list of media items has the Search function behind a list of image names.

If I use Advanced Editor, then click on link, the Link popup comes up, but when I try to click inside the Search field, I can’t.

This was working before the update to 3.9.1. Any fix?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

That issue with the button being hidden looks weird, and I’ll investigate that!

The problem with the other search field not being clickable is a known issue in the new media manager, for which I haven’t found a solution yet, though. The workaround here is to not use the “Insert LInk” button in the “Advanced Editor”, but directly on the “Edit” screen. That will bring up the same screen, but this time, the fields should be clickable.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

no, sorry 🙁 I’ve been pretty busy last week and didn’t have time yet for a thorough investigation. I did however see a ticket in the WordPress bug tracker about the first issue that you posted, so that might be taken care of in a future version of WordPress. I’ll also check if I can add a hotfix of TablePress.
The other issue (inserting links in the Advanced Editor) will take longer, so that I can only recommend to use the suggested workaround here, for now.

    Regards,
    Tobias
