You will also need to add the Search element to the Mobile Header. Otherwise, it won’t show up on the Mobile Header. In case you haven’t checked it already, this doc will tell you more how to create Mobile Header using Astra Header Builder.

Hi – I’m really confused. I have read the article but I can’t find the header builder option. I can see all the customize options but not the builder. What am I missing?

Sorry, for the confusion. It seems you are still using the old Header/Footer, not the Header Footer Builder (HFB).
Could you please share a screenshot of the Primary Menu section of the Customizer?
