Search function not working

As per Esmi’s request, relisting my own thread on this topic that the search function doesn’t seem to work for many people in this forum.

I search for exact and partial strings that are contained in either questions or answers in my Q&A entries and get zero results.

Given this plugin appears to be unsupported, or that the dev team seem unwilling to help those that raise this topic, can anyone else lend a hand!??
