I see what the problem is, the ?page_id=7971 gets omitted when you submit the searchform.

Are you using any SEO plugins? That’s most probably the cause of this
i m not use any seo plugin, & how to show the search value in same page,At this time i m click search button then go to home page, how to display search value is below form?

Hi, I have same problem. I cannot view the search result since it went back to home page . And when checking the link page_id=N is omitted.
However, when manually type it, it gave correct result.
This is the URL before search button is click
http://companydomain.com/site/?page_id=828
This is the URL after search button is clicked
http://companydomain.com/site/?name-directory-search-value=chris
Tried to change the permalink but my site will become inaccessible.
Any help will be much appreciated.

thanks for your reply, this is something I can work with. Did you have the latest version installed at the moment? I did some fixes for URL’s a while ago (also for this topic).
But maybe I’ve missed something, so I will check it out. Will you let me know which version you have installed?
