I am not having any trouble with search in my test installation.
That being said, I see a few potential issues:
1- It looks like you have set the search results page for the search box from that link to be on the page:
https://www.poetrysuperhighway.com/psh/links/link-directory-search-results/
That being said, I don’t think that you’ve put the [link-library] shortcode on that results page. That shortcode is needed to be able to display results. The [link-library-search] shortcode only display the search box and sends the query to the target page.
2- Similar, in the second test page that you’ve setup, it also looks to me like you’ve only put the [link-library-search] shortcode. You would need both shortcodes to be present on this page to be able to display search results.
Let me know if this makes sense and if you’re able to see search results by adding the [link-library] shortcode to the https://www.poetrysuperhighway.com/psh/links/link-directory-search-results/ or https://www.poetrysuperhighway.com/psh/search-links/
