    I am currently in the phase of selecting an RSS reader for my new website and have a couple of questions:
    – In case of not using the feed-to-blog option is the content of the imported feeds searchable by native WordPress Search or is there a build-in search in the plugin?

    if you are using the shortcode, there is no search capability…if you are using the feed to post, the search is provided by WP as the items become standard WP blog posts.
