Search results return with html code

First of all, thank you for the response this is somewhat helpful. The reason I say somewhat is because there is no “excerpt” field to enable under the screen options. I am fairly new to WP so your help is much appreciated.

I will also contact the theme creator and see if there is a fix through them while I continue to attempt to do this quick fix you suggested.

While there are some posts on the site, the search results that contain the html code so far are for pages. I am attempting to get the Team page results fixed so I am using the edit page not the edit post option. I checked a post for the site in the edit post screen and I do see the excerpt field is available. So if there are posts that have this issue I can fix those, now I need to figure out how to fix the pages.

I’ve also contacted the theme author for assistance and am waiting for a response.

I can’t thank you enough Vinod. This was the fix I was looking for. I am now able to create an excerpt for each page that will show up in the search results.
