Try to add dummy tracking number to an order and search for it.

Maybe there is a plugin conflict or something is not updated, please check that your WP, WC and your plugins are up-to-date, then you should deactivate all your plugins instead of AST and WooCommerce, check if you can search by tracking number and start activating your plugins one by one to see which one causes the conflict.
