Hi, @dannyogolo.
1) Pixabay requires a private key and limits the number of searches, so we prefer to work with Unsplash.
2) We implemented an Unsplash image search based on tags, because the results for titles are bad. Try to search for your post titles on Unsplash and you will understand.
3) Maybe this alternative feature would work for you: “Auto set featured image using post title and search engine”. The search engine is Duck Duck Go.
4) If you don’t need automation, there is a manual search for “keywords” in the FIFU meta box, in the post editor. Just type the keywords instead of the image URL.
@marceljm
Thanks for the quick response.
I understand the limitations/issue raised about searching with title. I may be willing to use it that way. But can you give me example of the way to get the best search results? Example, if the post is How to make a pancake salad. What will be the tag to get the best features image from unsplash?
2. As all images are not the same size, is there a way to set the size template, so whatever image it pulls, it can resize to the template size?
3. Is there a way to watermark the images pulled, or even write a caption on them?
4. Does it write alt tags on the image dynamically, maybe using article title or specified keyword (maybe tags too)?
1. Use concrete nouns, as “salad pancake” or “pancake salad”. “How to make a pancake salad” returns strange results as a beach, a hat, coins etc.
2. There are a few alternatives:
a) FIFU > Settings > Featured image > Same height (virtual crop using CSS)
b) FIFU > Settings > Performance > CDN + Optimized Thumbnails (real crop using a public CDN)
c) FIFU > Cloud (real crop using a private CDN)
3. Not for now and only FIFU Cloud would be technically able to do that
4. FIFU > Settings > Featured image > Auto set image title

I will prefer this.
Is there a way you can assist me further? I am not a coder
Hi, @dannyogolo.
a) FIFU > Settings > Featured image > Same height (virtual crop using CSS)
I will prefer this.
Unfortunately this option isn’t available in the free version of FIFU.
