Is this plugin multisite compatible?

I have BuddyPress installed on a secondary site in a multisite network? When I install this plugin, I get the following error;

Call to undefined function bp_get_root_blog_id()

Hi @lensdigital,

Yes, this plugin is multisite compatible. I have tried the same but I can not see the issue in my environment. I would like to know that this plugin and BuddyPress are they both activated on a subsite only?

BuddyPress is installed as per the following instructions;

define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_id );

I didn’t even get as far as activating the plugin. It broke when I installed it. It broke the whole installation. I had to manually delete it via FTP.

Have you defined $blog_id? here you have to write the site id in place of this variable. Like if your subsite’s id is 3 then you have to write it here or can do $blog_id = ‘3’;
then define ( ‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_id );

It is working now. I think I must have activated it at network level instead of the individual site.

To finish, yes I did have BP_ROOT_BLOG defined.

Perfect. Nice to hear that it worked for you. If you ill install BuddyPress and this plugin on the same subsite only then also it will work.
