Hi, I´m not sure that I understand you clear. If you just have a fresh table field, there is only one empty single table cell to start from. Add rows and columns with the plus-buttons. There is no sample table. I think you expected an table like in the screenshots. This is just an example of an table you can create.
If you still have a problem please send me a screenshot at [email protected].
Thanks!
Johann
Please ignore the “Wrapper Attributes”. These are general ACF options to customize the style of a field.
Hello,
I have the same problem. When I select the field-type “Table” – there is no option to set colums or rows or a plus button. I can only see those fileds:

Hi taro0904,
the editing of the table ( columns, rows, cell-content ) with the plus and minus button happens if you open a post or page for editing content, not in the “Custom Fields” section, where you define the fields. You can not pre-define rows and cells. This happens, if you edit content.
I hope, this helps.
Hi, in the post editor content does not appear the table, only the string description of the custom field.
Hi, I have the same problem. The options for the table are not appearing in the post.
Hi,
I also have the same problem. In fact I created a new topic an hour back and then realized that this issue has already been raised (the topic heading was a little misleading).
THe plugin is really not working. And I deactivated all my other plugins and used stock theme just to ensure that there is no compatibility issue.
Cheers.
Hi,
thanks for the reports. I investigated that issue and found it on using the Internet Explorer 8. Please let me know, if you are using that browser, to be sure fixing the right problem.
I testet the plugin with fresh WordPress 4.1.1 installs, with multiple PHP versions from v5.2.17 to v5.6.6, local and on the web, with https and it works in all major Browsers.
I discovered also a minor table styling problem on FireFox and IE´s that I´m going to fix.
Thanks a lot,
Johann
Hi,
I am using Chrome Version 33 and after reading your reply also tried it in Firefox 30.
Other details:
Apache ver. 2.2.19 (Unix)
PHP version 5.2.*
MySQL ver. 5.1
I tried adding latest jquery explicitly , but still not able to make the plugin work.
Cheers
Thanks sandeepy02,
I successfully tried the plugin width:
– WordPress Version 4.1.1
– ACF latest Versions 4 und 5
– all latest major browsers and IE8 – IE11
– also tried successfully Chrome Version 33 on Windows 8 and OSX Yosemity
– Apache Version 2.2.29
– PHP Version 5.2.17
– MySQL version 5.5.38
So I need your help to figure out, what happens in your environment. If you are able to give me a User-Login to your WordPress, that would help a lot in this situation.
Thanks so far,
Johann
