Hi @imkimc,
Trust you are doing well, and thank you for reaching out to us.
I had to manually download the plugin and upload it to my site because it was stuck on 1.46.2 and would not update tot he latest version
Was there any error showing up when the update failed? If yes, can you please share the same? Please let us know if you observed the issue only while updating Forminator.
After that there was now a message in the dashboard about adding security keys to the wp_config file.
Since version 1.50, we added a more prominent notice that encourages users to define the FORMINATOR_ENCRYPTION_KEY constant because now all payment and integration keys are securely encrypted, reducing the risk of invalidated integrations when WordPress security keys change.
Since you have an integration with Mailchimp, please define the FORMINATOR_ENCRYPTION_KEY constant to ensure the integration keys are securely encrypted.
Please feel free to get back to us if you need any further clarification.
Best Regards,
Nebu John
Hi @imkimc,

how do you get rid of the annoying message ? we only use contact form
Hi @rtdev ,
You can add the key to your wp-config.php as explained here – https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#add-forminator-encryption-key-config
It is a random key that you’ll add there to the define mentioned “FORMINATOR_ENCRYPTION_KEY”. You can use a tool like this one to generate this random key – https://proton.me/pass/password-generator
Please let us know if this helps.
Best Regards,
Williams Valerio
