I see that others are experiencing this same error but have not found the solution. My client has not been receiving his website forms recently with the error: p3nlsmtp19.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net : HOSTING RELAY : ESMTP No Grid/Plesk Relay Access Allowed From [ip address]

I do my own hosting and the domain is through Namecheap, not GoDaddy.

  • Hi @ktaylor310,

I hope you are doing well.

It seems like the issue is with the Plesk server; You need to talk to Plesk support or follow this doc.

    Hi @ktaylor310,

I hope you are doing well.

The mentioned issues are related to hosting. You can switch to other email services that POST SMTP offers including, Brevo, Office365, Gmail, Mailgun, etc.

For more information on setting up a new socket, you can visit our documentation page.

I do my own hosting through a Gridpane Developer panel plus Vultr or Digital Ocean. I have Post SMTP set up as part of my new build plugin bundle, so it is installed automatically on all of my websites. With over 100 sites using the plugin, why is this the only account that is having the issue? How could it be connected to hosting?

For anyone else having this issue (I read many) during an SMTP plugin update, my email configuration was reset to default. That was the reason for the error. I assume the default settings are somehow associated with GoDaddy and/or Plesk and that is why you receive that very specific error message even if you don’t use GoDaddy or Plesk.
