Hi Chris
i have added this:
/wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen-child/buddypress/members/register.php
to security setting > signup page
As the signup page I want to secure is in my child theme.
But this is not securing the page. Any mistake on my part in this?
As is suggested I have entered these
“wp-signup.php,wp-login.php?action=register,/register,wp-register.php”
but this block registration also for people with email invites. The one responsible for this is /register. I believe this is supposed to be a folder under wp. But I cannot find this folder anywhere. So when i randomly use any option like “/diary”, then registration is opened for all users and not just ones with email invites.
Chris can you help me here?
Anyone here…help needed desparately
Those who have successfully used this with twenty fourteen and buddypress, your inputs would really be appreciated
Deactivating Buddypress plugin makes this plugin work. Help please!
Finally got it to work. The matter was as trivial as getting the settings right. In signup setting, the signup page was to be entered properly for my Buddypress registration:
http://mysite.com/wp/register/?email=
Thanks a lot for the tips !!!!
