Besides the login-feature I use the plugin for securing the website against hackers.

This means after two unsuccessful attempts to enter the password the site is locked. Great!

But there are some bastards who find out the real login names and when they try to hack the site the system locks out again and this way you can not re-enter the site before the system unlocks it.

Usually TML is sending an email telling you which IP has tried to hack the site and a link to unlock it but this link is only working from time to time.

How can you re-enter the site when this has happened?

    Best regards,

    Harald

It was actually easy to solve….. -logon with FTP… -change the folder of TML in wp-content to something else…. -voila…. -and login to website/wp-login

Reverse the change of the TML Folder. And you are back in business 🙂

TML 7.0 will include the ability to turn off username login and use email addresses only. This could potentially help alleviate these types of problems, because an attacker *should* have a harder time figuring out email addresses.
