Hi! Snazzy plugin and for free, that’s wild!

I do have a question about security and maybe it’s not relevant to the plugin, but I figured I’d ask just in case.

Is there anyway to secure the files that are uploaded to the site? Meaning if someone were to stumble upon a url of the document and they are not signed into the website or had the appropriate permissions, that it would tell them they couldn’t view it?

If you want to use the FlightBox to display images and videos in a modal window, no. Otherwise, you have to enable encrypted downloads in your shortcode then you can add a .htaccess to all your folders with a deny from all command.

    Gotcha!

Sounds like for any new subdirectories that are created, I’ll need to manually add in the htaccess file each time, right?

Yes. File Away doesn’t do this for you at this time.
