I have never seen or heard of that before. Are you able to install other plugins?

and the strange thing is that it comes up in spanish…I have three languages on my website, but the default is in english of course….

Have you tried downloading the plugin and installing in manually? Do you have another WP site installed somewhere to attempt to install it on and see if you get the same results?
Sorry, I don’t have any other suggestions at the moment. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of anything like this (for any plugin).
