Hi, me too, this appears to have stopped working on the day of last release. 28/03/2014.
The only changes made recently were to change the url shortening method from tiny url to google.
I updated to the new release but this did not solve the issue.
I too get the correct ‘1’ response to the test url
http://wtf-fu.com/?s2member_s_badge_status=1
but on the security badge settings page it is listed as ‘not verified’.
and the badge does not show up on the site anymore.
site is wtf-fu.com
As the test link returns 1 (== secure) I believe all the settings are correct.
Any suggestions on how to debug this further would be appreciated.
thanks
lynton
Its now working again for me.
I ran the latest s2-member-server-scanner.php and it passed but advised
increasing wordpress memory limit (40Mb by default) to 64 Mb.
I let it do this and after that it was working again.
So unless this is a co-incidence, I guess that this new test (I hadn’t seen this recommendation before) was causing the badge display failure, even though the badge_status link was returning ‘1’
So, try the scanner and correct any warnings is my advise.
Hope this helps someone else.
