    Hello
    I first want to say that I am not the most tech savy person when it comes to dealing with issues pertaining to my WordPress Woocommerce website. I handle more of the design aspect so any comments with instructions provided, please write them as a step-by-step process otherwise I will be totally lost! lol

    My website has recently been spammed with bots having 50+ failed orders per day. I have a lot of security on my site set up, including Sucuri Firewall, Anti-spam filters, etc. I recently purchased the Anti-spam & Security plug in by Cleantalk. I have been working with Sucuri and they are not finding any malicious files or malware on my site.

    I set up the Access Key and below is an error that I see when viewing the Security by Cleantalk plugin. I have no idea what it means or how to address it. The support link directs me here. Can anyone explain and help me address this issue please?

    Hello.

    This is a temporary error. Please do the following: click “Synchrinize with Cloud” in the plugin settings, wait until the rotating icon disappears and refresh the page. The error should disappear.

    Then run a scan of your site. This guide will help you: https://cleantalk.org/help/security-malware-scanner.

    This all concerns the Security plugin.

    If you already have the Anti-Spam plugin installed and you have received spam orders, we need to look at the requests from your site to understand what the reason is. Could you tell us the name of your site or its Service #?
    You can find the Service # here: your CleanTalk dashboard → the “Settings” button under your site name.

    Hello!
    Thank you so much for this information and clear steps.

    I went ahead and Synchronized with the cloud and did a scan and everything appears to be ok now…no more error 🙂

    I do have the Anti-spam by Cleantalk plugin installed as well. Since I have done this update, I have not received anymore failed orders. If there are no more failed orders, do you still need to look into it further?
