    Hello,

I’m currently running Security Optimizer on two WooCommerce stores hosted on a Cloudways medium plan server. Both sites are using the Hybrid stack, but I’m considering upgrading to Cloudways’ new Lightning stack.

Since the Lightning stack doesn’t support .htaccess files, I’m concerned about potential compatibility issues with Security Optimizer. I did test the switch to Lightning stack on a staging website and didn’t notice any obvious issues, but I’m still not entirely certain about full compatibility.

Could you please confirm whether Security Optimizer will function properly on the Lightning stack, or if there are any limitations I should be aware of before making the switch on my live sites?

I’d appreciate any guidance you can provide.

    Best regards, Iliadis Charalampos

    Hello @giannisgx89,

Our plugin is compatible with multiple hosting environments but there might be certain restrictions depending on the used software. We are not fully aware of the mentioned stack but it seems to be based on Nginx.

In case, you have experienced a particular issue on your end, feel free to provide us with more information about the exact error as well as with the logged entries in your error log.

    Regards,

    Vladimir
