Select files to cache for known users?

I’m using a To-Do List plugin to display hundreds of to-do items for our office, and they get updated throughout the day. The plugin uses various scripts that I would like to cache, but I can’t cache the page using the plugin because to-do items won’t be shown because of the cache.

Is it possible to select specific files to cache (in my case JS scripts), and nothing else?
