    Hello @kathi83

Hope you’re doing well today! I am sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with Forminator.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. I tried to replicate the issue on my testing site with the select fields, however, I was unable to replicate it.

It seems that the issue could be site specific, did you notice the issue specifically after installing or updating any plugin on the site?

I reckon the issue could be due to a possible CSS conflict or Asset Optimization, can you please confirm if the issue is happening on other forms as well? Also, if possible, could you please share a link where we can check the form on the frontend and check more about it further?

    Awaiting your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh

The issue is there since beginning of using and working with Forminator.
And it´s at all Forms with select fields.

    Hi @kathi83,

I could notice the issue on your website, however, not able to fully rule out what exact CSS is causing such a conflict.

Seems like the form is added as part of the Elementor popup. Could you please check and see how it behaves if you temporarily add the same form inside a page?

Does it work fine when it’s loaded from the page? This would help in ruling out whether it’s more specific within the popup or not too.

I did give a quick test in my system within Elementor Popup but wasn’t able to replicate such a behaviour.

Possible to also share the form export too?

Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.

You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi Nithin,

    I hope i did it right …

I have noticed that the issue isn´t there when im logged in at my wordpress and i have the admin panel and then i look at the site (popup)…

    Thanks for your effort 😉

    Hi @kathi83

    Thanks for sharing the form.

When testing your form on my own setup, I can’t see that issue at all. But when checking on your page, it looks like part of the markup (page source) related to those select fields got somehow duplicated and the “second instance” is not behaving correctly.

You mentioned that it doesn’t happen when you are logged-in and does not happen on the test page.

So I’m wondering – on that test page, did you also put the form in Elementor’s lightbox or directly on the page? If on the page, could you try if the same happens on the test page if you put it in Elementor’s popup?

Also, can you try to simply regenerate Elementor’s data and CSS via ELementor’s “Tools” page?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

when i put in in Elementor´s popup on the Test page the issue happens. Without popup its correct.

When i´m logged in all is ok. When i log out the issue happens when i look at the site.

I´ve regenerated Elementor’s data and CSS via Elementor’s “Tools” page and purged it from the cache.
    Nothing changed 🙁

    I´m a special case omg

    Hi @kathi83,

Hope this message finds you well, and sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue.

Same as Adam, I was not able to reproduce the issue, the form does look ok embedded on Elementor’s Pop-up

Somehow Forminator custom style is not being loaded but there is an error either, could you check

    wp-content/uploads/forminator/

and check if there is any file there?

    Let us know.

    Best regards,
    Laura

    Hi @kathi83,

I ran further testing and on checking further I’m able to replicate the issue.

It appears it’s more related to compatibility issues. I’m escalating this further to our developer’s attention to check if there are any workaround that could be suggested in such instances.

Will keep you posted once we get further feedback.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @kathi83,

We have an update from our developers, as a workaround the following CSS can be used.

    .select2.select2-container.forminator-select:not(.forminator-select-dropdown-container–below) {
    display: none;
    }

Can you please try adding the above CSS at WP Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS?

    I hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John
