    Hi all,

I’m trying to help a friend build an online food ordering platform for his salad bar. I managed to build most of the requirements, however I’m unable to find a way to allow users to select multiple attributes within a certain limit. Since it’s a salad bar, there are a number of ingredients that the user can choose from, and the first 5 ingredients (in three categories – cheeses, veggies, cereal, etc.) are included in the base price, while there is a $1 fee from the 6th ingredient onwards.

I’ve looked everywhere, including evaluating (only from the description) paid plugins. Would much appreciate any tips or leads. Thanks in advance.

You’ll have to use custom fields I believe. Take like a pizza builder for instance. Search for a plugin that is close to this one and just use it very similarly for the salad bar.

Dear Stef. Firstly, my apologies for the delayed response. My hosting provider ate up all my files and hence I could not test the solution you suggested until I gave up on them and installed WP locally. Secondly, many thanks for your useful and rapid response. I went with that option. The plugin isn’t perfect but definitely gets the job done.

It would be great to see this kind of an option appear natively in Woocommerce. I haven’t coded much recently, but I’ll take a look the WC code and see if I can suggest something.

    Thanks again. Cheers,Sukrit.
