Selected payment method is not usable

    Hi. We struggled through all the integration and approval from Google.
    Ye this message comes when we test Google Pay: “Uh oh, something went wrong. The selected payment method is not usable. Select an other payment method.”
    Stripe API is OK. Google Merchant ID is correct, and Google integration is approved today.
    What can you suggest?

    Hi @kozmaf

    When testing your site, the GPay popup appears as expected on your checkout page.

    What page do you see that error message? Is it the checkout page, product page, cart page?

    Yes, This occurred during checkout after logging in to Google account and giving the card I wanted to use for test.
    The issue is that we applied a plugin for switching between currencies, and I was trying to use Indian rupies as currency. Later I tested with USD and it worked.
    I wonder if this is plugin issue or political issue at all. 🙂

    This is most likely related to the transaction being in Indian Rupies and regulations imposed by and on GPay.
