I’m afraid I can’t understand your problem on the provided page.
I’ve tested it with Mozilla and Chrome, when I click the drop-down menu it closes after I click my option.
Or do you want it to be still open after clicking the option?
the problem occurred on chrome and safari.
it dissappered on chrome after installing the latest update.
but it is still happening on safari browsers (latest version)

Unfortunately we cannot reproduce your problem. With the current versions of the Brwosers everything works as usual and the drop-down list stays open.
Maybe it’s a conflict with a browser adon or application. You can test it with a clean version of your browser.
tried it on other Mac systems, works on all safari browsers on machines with intel chip, still not working on Macs with M1 Chip
I use a M1-Chip myself and i tried it on our demo page, it works fine…have you tried it on our demo page /step three.?

WORKS on Demopage …
I just tried all my WordPress projects with your Plugin, in some cases it is workin, in some cases not.
I added some CSS to get the date picker working
.ui-datepicker {
z-index: 9999!important;
}
Maybe this causes the problem?
If you’ve made changes to the CSS, this could create the problem.
