Self Hosting Web Stories

I’m not sure what the current status is on self-hosting the AMP runtime, but I recommend checking out the following resources to learn more about how to achieve this:

You’ll need a way to replace all the URLs in the document to point to your own endpoints, for which you’ll need to write a custom sanitizer, basically as described at https://amp-wp.org/documentation/playbooks/sanitizers/. We just use slightly different class names and filter names in the Web Stories plugin. So basically:

1. Self-host all your scripts
2. Follow best practices for self-hosting
3. Create a custom sanitizer to point all URLs from the AMP CDN to your location
