I’m dealing with a large table. I couldn’t understand exactly how it works.
I record data in the lower cells of the table, I go to the top, some cells are merged.
I delete those rows and do it again, after a while the similar problem repeats.
I could not figure out how to split the merge two cells back.

I found something about how the problem occurs.
It occurs when I go into the table settings (even if I don’t save anything).
    It’s incredibly frustrating 🙁

    Hello,

    Thanks for your message.

From what you described, it seems that some cells are merging unexpectedly while you’re editing a Simple table — especially when entering data from the bottom up — and you’re unable to split them back afterward.

This behavior shouldn’t happen by default, and we’re not able to reproduce it so far, which suggests it might be a very specific scenario.

To help us understand better, could you please record a short video of your screen showing the full steps — from how you create the table to how the issue appears? That would allow us to try the exact same actions and see if we can isolate the problem.

You can upload the video anywhere (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar) and send us a watch/download link.

If the video contains sensitive data, we recommend opening a private ticket with us. Just visit our site, open the chat box in the bottom right corner, and refer to this post — you’ll then be able to upload the video securely and continue the conversation with our team.

    Looking forward to your reply.
    Kind regards,
    Milos
