Sell subscription without WooCmmerce

    I am trying to sell subscriptions to a service on my site. I want customers to be able upgrade/downgrade/cancel their account. I do not need something as complex as a membership site, just recurring subscriptions using the Stripe payment gateway.
    I know there is WooCommerce subscriptions and a few other Woo subscription plugins, but I do not use WooCommerce, so I need something that is NOT a membership plugin and is NOT WooCommerce extension.
    Any suggestions?

    I highly recommend using WooCommerce Subscriptions, as I think it is the best solution for WordPress reccurring payments.

    It is not something you should fear – WooCommerce is really nice plugin and it it’s easy to use.

    Woocomerce is not bad for the right job. But extremely bloated for what I am trying to do. Not to mention the cost of the extensions needed is prohibitive for a small startup like mine.
