Great question!
Yes you can sell individual modules as separate add-ons.
To start selling your courses, please upgrade to Sensei Pro, which includes the WooCommerce integration, as described here: https://senseilms.com/woocommerce-integration/
You can then customize how you sell your courses. You can set them up as memberships, but you can also use different ways of selling them (ie a stand-alone course, subscriptions etc):
