I’m seeing email notifications going to users when they change their passwords.

I also understand that WordPress default behavior is to send a notification to the site administrator. However this is not happening. I’m assuming this is because this plugin is handling the password resets now.

Is there a way to ALSO get an email send to a site administrator?

    Hi @mikecargal,

Yes, both the WordPress default system and the User Registration plugin send an email notification to users when they change their password.

However, WordPress does not send an email notification to the site administrator when a user updates their password. By default, WordPress only notifies the admin when a new user is created or when a user’s email address is changed. So, this behavior is not something the plugin has altered—it simply follows WordPress’s standard policy.

The main reason for not sending password change notifications to administrators is due to user privacy and data protection policies.

    I hope this clarifies things!

    Best regards!
