Send Confirmation AFTER won’t toggle off

In Event Options, I have tried many times to toggle OFF the Send confirmation AFTER payment option, but it reverts to being toggled ON. Since my event doesn’t require payment, I believe this is why confirmation emails are never sent. (and likely the same issue @dserey is facing here : https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/confirmation-emails-11/.
