Send data from wordpress to Flash

    Hello,

    I have a problem getting my Flash navigation to work well with wordpress.
    Is there a way to send data from wordpress to flash for example: gotoAndStop(1);?

    Basically I would like to be able to tell Flash what page or post is currently displayed and do a gotoAndPlay(someframe); command.

    My webpage is about flash tutorials http://www.mepi.pl. The menu is at the top.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated, I haven’t been able to figure out this out for a long time.

    Do a search on flashvars and externalInterface.

    Flashvars allows you send variables to flash at runtime.

    ExternalInterface allows Flash to communicate with the HTML wrapper via javascript.

    hi zeebart, I am currently developing a php script that pulls info from wordpress using its loop template. I’m about 80pct done with it and would be more than happy to share the file once I’m complete with it. Check back in a few days, I’ll post here once its ready.
