Send emails based on user role

    Hi, this is an awesome client engagement plugin. Is there a way to configure emails to be sent to administrator only (for testing purposes) and/or particular user roles only? Thanks.

    The user roles is an interesting idea. As for testing, for my clients I just create email addresses for testing.

    Hi, thanks for your response. When you say you create email addresses for testing, do you mean that one can send the alert to specific email addresses? My clients site is Live with quite a few existing subscribers.

    Yes if looking to test functionality create a hidden post, then subscribe your test email, then send update alert. If all works, then that means no issues with the plugin. If when you send an alert out to your subscribers and having issues, contact the web host, as they might limit the amount of email sent from the server. If that is the case, you may need to use SMTP or WP Offload SES plugin. I hope this helps.
