send mail from localhost

    Hello

    I am running WP on a local envireonment (http://local_address:port). I am using “WP Mail SMTP”-plugin to send mails as I have no mail server on that server (RasPi). To send mail this way it is working fine so far.

    What I now want to do is to send a form using SMTP to a valid mail adress with Contact Form 7. Unfortunately I receive syntax and config errors while form creation. It is telling me that the domain does not match in “from” field. As I mentioned, I am running WP on a local environment like http://local_address:port. I have not a proper domain and I am not going to have.

    Is there a way to send this form anyway?
