Send notification to post’s author only

    I want to send notification email on new comments for the post’s author only.

    Ticking the Send this notification to the Author won’t hide the Send to field, and you’re required to select at least one Role/User for the notification.

    So what I have to do to have the notification sent only to the post’s author?

    Hi @wptriad,
    Thanks for your message.

    A few people have also reported this and I can confirm that it’s a big. As a workaround, you can create a new empty User Role and include this in the Send To box in order to save the notification and get it working.

    Just wondering, if this gets fixed soon? We have several notifications created by our plugin which are sent to post author only by default. We do wish this to be fixed really soon.

    Yes, a new release should be available this week. Just working out a few last items before I can do this.
