Hi, I need to create a WhatsApp group where our members can join via website, with prior authorization through a form. Specifically, we want to build a form on the website where they can consent to join the WhatsApp group. Members have to previously accept the data privacy included in the form. After accepting, they should be able to automatically join the group, either via a QR code or link. How can I approach this?

I think a registration form would be feasible, but there is no secure way to ensure that only the invited person can join the WhatsApp group. As far as I know, WhatsApp only offers a generic link for this and anyone can pass this on to others. However, if you don’t care about this, you can implement your project with any form plugin available. You can find examples here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/tags/forms/

After submitting the form, they would be shown the invitation link (and could copy it and pass it on to others).

You would have to ask their community / support if there is another way for WhatsApp to do this.
