Sender E-mail (From E-mail) doesn’t change

    If I receive a form from the contact form 7 to my e-mail, the sender of the mail never changed.
    I want to change the sender mail into my mail address, but I can’t change it.
    I’ve changed my wordpress’s admin e-mail and the mail tab’s “From” into my e-mail. However, the sender mail never changes.

    If anybody knows how to solve this problem, please let me know how.

    For example, my admin address is [[email protected]] and “from” of CF7’s mail tab is also [[email protected]].
    However, when I receive the mail, the sender of the mail is not [[email protected]] but something else.

    Sender : [email protected]
    Reply to : your-email
    Receiver : [email protected]

    I want to change [[email protected]] into [[email protected]]

    What email configuration do you have in the Mail tab panel?

    Hmm, that seems to be the correct format for your FROM field, and should make the form come from that address.

    Do you have anything else that may be changing this in the “Additional Settings” tab? For example, the Flamingo plug-in, with custom settings there that may be setting the email address after CF7 gets done handling it…?

    I believe I have no plug-ins which deal with e-mail setting, and I’ve also been re-installed the CF7, and set the mail setting exactly same, but the mail still comes from other company e-mail address.

    Never mind, it was my WP Mail SMTP setting problem.
