    I have tried testing out the post notifications for a post I have updated by setting the post to draft and then re-publishing. I also have a plugin installed called “Edit Flow” that lets the user have different drafts for their posts for better editing. This seems to break the feature of post notifications. Do you know of any work around for this?

  • @anastasialanz,

    So are you saying that with “Edit Flow” activated that Subscribe2 doesn’t work when re-publishing older posts but when “Edit Flow” is deactivated it does work? I had not head of “Edit Flow” until now so I’ll have to have a look as it’s code.

    @anastasialanz,

    I’ve had a brief look at the code in Edit Flow, it seems to introduce several new ‘post status’ options like ‘pitch’, ‘assigned’ and ‘in-progress’. If you directly publish the content from one of these statuses rather than from the core options of ‘draft’ and ‘pending’ then Subscribe2 won’t generate an email.

    Other than that I would think it should work fine, it sent emails fine when I had Edit Flow active and move an existing post back to draft and re-published it.
