Sending Posts as E-Mails to Subscribers

    Hi! Here’s my situation:

    I am a local musician, and so far, I have been promoting my shows via an e-mail list of 1,000 fans. This is very labor intensive.

    I would love to have all of these people subscribe to my brand new blog at http://www.sandyconnollyband.com so that all I have to do is make a beautiful blog post with the upcoming event information, and all my fans would receive an e-mail that includes the promotional photos and everything.

    What is the best way to do this?

    It seems like now they have to go to the site, enter their e-mail address, get a confirming e-mail, and click on that to confirm. That’s okay except how can I get them to go to the website in the first place? I would love to be able to send an invitation directly from my new website.
