I have dowloaded SendPress version 0.9.3.3 but when I click to activate it I get this message:

“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Warning: require_once(/home/fhlinux009/r/reelangels.tv/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-list-table.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fhlinux009/r/reelangels.tv/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/sendpress/sendpress.php on line 38

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/fhlinux009/r/reelangels.tv/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-list-table.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/pear-php5′) in /home/fhlinux009/r/reelangels.tv/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/sendpress/sendpress.php on line 38″

I have had a look through the coding for the plugin itself but can see no sign of this coding to relocate the file. I imagine that it relates to the coding of the wordpress site itself but cannot manage to work out where I find this.

I am wondering if anyone has had this problem and knows how to solve it so I can complete activation?
It’s probably so simple after activating the plugin!

    Many thanks in advance 🙂

    hi reelangels7,

Could you tell me what version of wordpress you are running and also do you have your wp-admin in a different directory? what url do you use to login to the site?

    Thanks,
    Josh

    Hi Josh,

Using WordPress 3.0.1. We use wp-admin through our WordPress site to login which is at- reelangels.tv/wordpress/wp-admin

    Thanks!

    Hi reelangels7,

unfortunately the class used was not add to WordPress until 3.1 and it is used to render all main table layouts of SendPress. Not sure if it is possible for you to upgrade your WordPress install but without at least 3.1 the plugin will not work. We have tested it back to 3.4 and the plugin should run in 3.2 without issue but we dont test that many versions back.

If their is anything we can do to help just let us know.

    Best,
    Josh

Ahh, that makes sense. Thankyou so much for your help!

Am about to upgrade to 3.5.1 but believe I need to back everything up first. How would I go about backing up our wordpress site? Not too sure how it works with wordpress- tried to google but has gone straight over my head!

    Hi reelangels7,

Here is the info from ww.wp.xz.cn: http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/WordPress_Backups

You could also sign up for a service like vaultpress.com i have used this before and it is great but does cost $15 a month.

Your other option is to get a plugin that will do backups for you. Here are a few that i know of.

    http://ithemes.com/purchase/backupbuddy/
    http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/snapshot/

Their may also be some free plugins to do backups for you this site has a good list of possible options.
