Hi Noesiskl,
Currently SendPress does not have a way to send attachments.
The only option that comes to mind is hosting the file on our site and adding a link to the email. We could look into adding attachments as an option just not sure when it would get added.
Best,
Josh
Good morning Josh,
your suggestion don’t solve the problem for me, because links in newsletters do not work (I send you two messages about this fact to [email protected] – the last one yesterday) by leading to the start page instead of content itself. I followed your hints (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/links-not-working-or-email-showing-404-pages/) without any success.
For instance: the link inside the newsletter
https://bv-produktion.de/sendpress/eyJpZCI6MCwicmVwb3J0IjoxODgsInZpZXciOiJ0cmFja2VyIiwidXJsIjoiaHR0cHM6XC9cL2J2LXByb2R1a3Rpb24uZGVcL2Rvd25sb2FkXC8yMDA1MjAtY2hlY2tsaXN0ZS1mdWVyLXNhcnMtY292LTItYmVkaW5ndGVuLW1laHJhdWZ3YW5kLXVuZC1tZWhya29zdGVuXC8ifQ/
inserted with
[wpdm_package id=’769′]
should lead to
https://bv-produktion.de/download/200520-checkliste-fuer-sars-cov-2-bedingten-mehraufwand-und-mehrkosten/
instead of start page.
I maintain another website, where it works properly, but cannot find any difference (same versions of WordPress and Sendpress). The only idea left is, that the theme prevents the correct function. Where can I start debugging?
Because anything is configured (it’s a website for an association with many members [newsletter subscribers]) I don’t want to change the plugin, but would have to do if I can’t bring sendpress to ‘fly’… 🙁
Regards,
Knut
Hi Knut,
I replied to your support ticket email. Going to switch to that for now provided you did receive the support reply email.
