    When the teacher responds to a message, the student cannot see it and cannot respond as well.

    On the other hand, where exactly the teacher has to respond? where it says comments? If it’s there, the student cannot reply again? Thank you,

    Hello,

    There is a My Messages link at the top of the My Courses page. This is where both teachers and students can reply to messages. You could also consider adding a link to this page in your main menu or elsewhere on your site to make it easier to find.
