Hi

I have several installations and I cannot get a good result for any of them on Facebook debug.

Even if I put all the sittings the same the results seem to be different? That is some show ‘Single Category’ Some show an image someshow an image from another category?

In particular, The results whether Direcrtorist SEO is on or off in settings show ‘Single Category’

I have Yoast installed and Directorist cache off.

With Directorist SEO off The debug shows this

Hi @jemetos,

Few things to note here:
1. This page (https://naturebathing.co.uk/directory-category/) is set as your Single Category page (using the shortcode or elementor widget), right? This page is meant for a reference point for your actual Single Category pages (like: https://naturebathing.co.uk/directory-category/apps/). So that page is not meant for any specific categories and naturally there isn’t any meta tag that refers to a particular category.

2. Single Category pages (like: https://naturebathing.co.uk/directory-category/apps/) are automatically created, depending on the categories you have. This pages doesn’t work with third-party SEO plugins, but it should work with Directorist SEO. So if you have Dirctorist SEO turned on, it should assign correct OG:Title and OG:URL.

If you’re having issue on some specific single category pages, with Directorist SEO turned on, kindly provide us the link to them, we’ll look into it.

I have switched Directrorist SEO on and left fields blank on tow sites.

Both have category descriptions

https://www.whatclassiccar.co.uk/directory-category/auctions/
https://naturebathing.co.uk/directory-category/youtube-channels/

I have checked both in Facebook debug and meta looks wrong.

Hi @jemetos,

Thank you for the confirmation. This could happen for a number of reasons, without more thorough testing it is hard to identify what actually is causing this.
If you’re comfortable enough to modify some codes, could you modify the class-seo.php (directorist/includes/classes) file and give a greater priority to these underlined ones (just set the value as seen on the screenshot) and see if it resolves the issue?
