Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with Yoast support.
We think you’re referring to the “Yoast SEO Posts Overview” on the WordPress dashboard. If this is not showing for you, please check the following:
– Can you confirm you have the right user permissions? You can check by going to Users->Your Profile->Yoast SEO settings (may need to scroll down) and confirm that both “Disable SEO analysis” and “Disable readability analysis” are unclicked?
– Can you confirm that the SEO, Readability, and Insights are all enabled by going to SEO->General->Features and checking that SEO Analysis, Readability Analysis, and Insights are all set to ‘On’?
– Can you confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check by going to SEO->Search Appearance->Content Types and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “Show” for the respective content type (pages, posts, etc)?
Does that resolve the issue?
Yes, I can confirm all of those are in good standing. AND still it won’t work. It does not work on the posts either.
What I see is that “Readability” is working, but not SEO it says “Not available”
I love this feature, let me know if there’s a way to make this work. Perhaps it doesn’t play well with the latest WP version? Or some conflict? The site is http://www.castig.org
We’re not quite sure we’re on the same page as you. The “Not available” appears on a post/page but does not appear on the WordPress dashboard widget. So first, let’s make sure we understand exactly what you see so we can better assist. Please provide a screenshot of where you see the issue. You can use any image sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/
Oh! I’m sorry, it looks like I just need to add the “Focus Keyword.” Is it possible that on my last site these were being added automatically by Yoast? Or perhaps because I had Yoast for years on my last site they were being added in real-time, whereas with the new site I now need to set these? Thanks!
Hi stiggynet,
We’re glad you got the bottom of it.
Yoast does not generate focus keyphrases automatically, nor does it make suggestions. This was never a feature of Yoast’s. We do, however, have resources to help you craft them: https://yoast.com/focus-keyword/
We hope this helps.
