I am not seeing the normal SEO column in the posts overview table or the metabox on post edit pages. I am not sure if the plugin is still working to some capacity, and just not visible in the admin UI.

I have the plugin activated and the following two settings checked on:
    – Display the SEO Bar in overview tables
    – Display the SEO Bar in the SEO Settings metabox

Any ideas of why the plugin would appear to not load? I believe I am on WordPress version 5.5. Please let me know what information I should provide.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello!

To view TSF’s fields, the user must have the edit_post capability for the post. The post’s type must also be publicly queryable. Generally, all authors and higher should be able to see the SEO column.

If you’re working with custom post types, please do make sure you can find them listed at “SEO Settings -> General Settings -> Exclusions.” If they’re listed, they’re compatible with TSF. Don’t check the box!

Make sure that at “Screen Options” at the top-right of your screen, you have “SEO / Post SEO Settings” checked. A plugin may be actively managing the default state of this setting.

If you’re using the block editor, hit the vertical-ellipses at the top right, and click on “Preferences”. There, at the bottom, under “Additional panels”, you should be able to enable “Post SEO Settings”.

I think I covered everything here! If you’re still finding issues, please let me know (a link would help)!

    Thank you for your reply!

Our development team found there was a bug in our custom code, which has now been fixed! So it seems like it was not a bug in The SEO Framework plugin.
