SEO google widget
-
Is there a way through this plugin to show navigation links pages as links under the main website link in google search results widget?
-
The links shown below the search results are the so-called Sitelinks and they are automatically generated by Google based on your site structure. It’s not based on our plugin’s settings. The Yoast plugin automatically adds all the necessary Schema needed to generate Sitelinks. So you won’t need to change anything from the plugin.
You could signal to Google which links you want to appear by using the following actions:
- Provide a clear structure for your website, using relevant internal links and anchor text that’s informative, compact and avoids repetition. These guides explain more: Blog SEO: add and maintain categories on your blog and Clean the Site Structure
- Allow Google to crawl and index important pages within your site. Use Inspect any URL to check that they can be rendered properly.
- Consider using noindex to remove pages you do not want to be found in a search. This guide explains more — How Do I Noindex URLs?
- Be sure to then resubmit your sitemap to Google as it will encourage Google to reindex your site and update its index. This guide explains more — Submit Sitemap to Google
- You may also wish to contact Google for more information on how they decide which links appear. You can contact Google by making a post on their forums — http://productforums.google.com/forum/?rd=1#!forum/webmasters.

Thanks for your reply. However, I want to make myself more clear. Is there a way to send you a screenshot of the desired output in google search?
Hi @msamaan
You can upload a screenshot to a website such as snipboard.io or ibb.co or imgur and share a link here.
However, please do be aware that while we do have a Google preview that will simulate how your website could appear in the search results (as well as defining an SEO title and meta description), it’ll still ultimately be up to Google as to how it would display it in the search results – https://yoast.com/help/my-seo-title-isnt-displayed-as-i-have-entered-it/ & https://yoast.com/help/my-meta-descriptions-arent-showing-up-in-the-search-result-pages/
Yes I understand. I just need guidance.
Kindly find the screenshot at https://snipboard.io/QtWcmv.jpgHi @msamaan
Regarding your screenshot, those show both the sitelinks and knowledge graph. The Yoast SEO plugin automatically adds all of the necessary structured data to make your website eligible for those rich results. However, as to whether Google would decide to output it with the sitelinks or knowledge graph would really depend on a whole lot of other factors (aside from just the correct schema markup).
You can follow the steps in our first reply to make your site structure clearer so it has a better chance of outputting the correct menu links in the sitelinks.
As for the knowledge graph, you can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/google-knowledge-graph/
