Moving hosting should have pretty much 0 affect on your hosting. The only things that could cause some issues are if you move to a lower powered server and your sites response times slow down, or you moving the geographic location of the server could be a slight hit as well. But if your site is the same and nothing that is publicly visible changes, there won’t be any issues.

It’s actually moving to a better cpanel server at GoDaddy so the load time should get better, but no difference in public visibility,
Then there should be no issues. Just keep the downtime to a minimum, and most places won’t even notice.

Yeah the down time is what they’re worried about, but nothing you can do. 🙂
Thank you smooch @catacaustic
Downtime is actually easy to avoid in a situation like this.
When the new hosting account is set up, re-create the site on it completely, and test that it’s working correctly. When it is you would then change the DNS settings to point to the new hosting server. After a few days when everything has propegated across to point to the new site you can take the old one down. The only thing that people will see is that the IP address of the site has changed, and that’s all. At most there will be a tiny window when the udates are done across the DNS servers around the world, but that’s pretty much going to be a minute or two at most but is pretty much alway sseamless to visitors.

There’s different hosting because of the domains. ivyed.net is the present hosting and the domain I have to move. So I have to release it from the hosting and then start it up under the new hosting flexschool.education.
At least that’s the best GoDaddy said, they have ivyed.com but I can’t change the permalinks.
